At a scientific demonstration on radiation, high-school student Peter Parker was accidentally bitten by an irradiated spider, which granted him incredible arachnid abilities! When Peter's carelessness led to the death of his Uncle Ben, he learned a valuable lesson - with great power, comes great responsibility. Now he vows to use his new-found powers to help his fellow man as the amazing Spider-Man! Spidey's spectacular power set consists of enhanced strength, speed and agility, spidersense (a sixth sense warning him of immediate peril of which may affect him), and the ability to stick to most (if not all) surfaces. He of course also invented his signature web shooters, small gauntlets around his wrists which shoot thread from which he can use to swing from, capture criminals and more.
