Purple Shirt Girl skin description

I tried using a (mostly) continuous shading 'pattern' as my friend calls it. I like how I did the hair on the head not on the overlay though. Said friend says I can use one of his shading 'patterns' if I wanted to, but I feel like that's cheating, lol. I think most people call his supposed "shading patterns" bases or similar.
