The 3rd Continental Light Dragoons were a Cavalry unit under William Washington in the Revolutionary War. The unit often went head to head with the dastardly "British Legion," a mixed unit of loyalist cavalry and infantry. They showed great bravery at the Battle of Cowpens, as well as the battle of Guilford Courthouse.
