Black Adam is a super-villain and sometimes anti-hero originally written as the evil counterpart to Captain Marvel, an ancient Egyptian prince who was given incredible powers by the wizard Shazam and survived into the modern era. His legacy would eventually expand to include the Black Marvel Family involving his wife Isis and her brother Osiris protecting their native land of Kahndaq. His powers include: S: Stamina of Shu H: Swiftness of Heru A: Strength of Amon Z: Wisdom of Zehuti A: Power of Aton M: Courage of Mehen. Whereas Captain Marvel draws his power from the Greek Gods, Black Adam derives his abilities from the Egyptian Gods.
