Alina Hiltama is no ordinary Haitian girl. Born into a lower-middleclass family of a respected Botanist Father who studied how to control all forms of plant life, and a feared Vodou Mambo Mother who would drug victims with Tetrodotoxin to create zombie slave to help her with Necromantic spells. Alina grew up divided not sure weather to follow her father and become respected or to follow her mother and become feared. Once Alina turned Sixteen she discovered she had magical powered that she obtained from her mother who did a ritual while she was still young. Alina discovered she had the magical abilities of Botanokinesis (Ability to control Plants), Nercokinesis (Ability to control the Dead), the ability to create diseases and cures for them along with the ability to manipulate a persons thoughts and mind. She decided to use her powers for profit by becoming a mercenary for hire under the name Black Rose.
