When Sir Dorian began his pilgrimage to the Whispering Archives, he brought with him a small legion of loyal knights who would stand by him to the grave. Unfortunately, they were poorly prepared to face the power of the eldritch scholars, and were quickly driven mad. Though his body was empowered by the scholars, they could not overcome his mind, and so they locked him away to challenge any who would come looking for their forbidden knowledge.
