C'thulhu Stone Idol (Contest Entry) skin description

Story: I watch as a young man of fancy attire is shoved in the small, dimly lit cell. My fellow worshippers show no expression, but the attitude in the room is of clear happiness. I stare through the thin bars of the thick cell door at the young man as he moves his hand around on the statuette, a queer orange light illuminating out from the idol’s eyes. The shock of being thrown in the cell has already left the fashionable young man as he’s stuck in a tranquil state of fascination with the statue. My crimson hood covers the slow smile pursuing my face as the young man slowly kneels down to eye level with the statuette. A curtain falls over the iron bars just as the light blooms from the idol’s eyes, causing the young man to drop. The audible thud alerts me that the process of “convincing” has been complete.
