Deatholus has no back story, only that he appears every time a disaster happens. His skeleton like features would scare any one, and you wouldn't like to meet him in a dark alley. Though no back story, there were rumors that he came from a cave, somewhere in Kovietpa several centuries ago. The king, more or less, recruited Deatholus into his personal guard. You see, Deatholus just walked right into the king's feast room, and the king's guards couldn't catch him, so the king decided to recruit this Deatholus (because he couldn't throw him out). Deatholus seams to have strange and mystical powers that can make him teleport! To be in story - "The Warrior's Path"
