Bad Time Stage 1 Bad Time Stage 2 (Adrenaline rush) Basically, his version of the pitch black eyes, because that's the usual The first few years of freedom, Sans did nothing but sleep and enjoy the flavour of Heinz. But eventually, he (for some reason) decided to be PRODUCTIVE. He would trade one job for another for the next 3 years before settling on what he knew; science. He founded a company only ONE year after making this decision. He brought W.D.Gaster to existence shortly after making enough money. His work in quantum theory with Dr. Gaster sparked a new interest. He spent the next few months working on a machine that could allow for inter-dimensional travel. After perfecting the device, he spent the next 33 years documenting the climates, toxicities, personalities of characters, etc. of every timeline he and his research team (He, Gaster, Frisk, Flowey, and Calson) could find. After the 100th documented timeline, he (again, I haven't come up with a motive yet just go with it) used one of his hands and a DNA sample from Frisk to make an heir to their determination. but the lasting and incurable pain of the wound resulted in a raised LV and a lack of visible pupils. He covered the hole with heat-shrink wrap as to not startle Papyrus. He took up smoking shortly thereafter, much to Papyrus' dismay. He takes extreme pride when it comes to his documentation of nearly 40% of base timelines(for example, Underswap itself, not including the endless variations of neutral runs and others) and often takes to rambling when it comes to the multiverse. Though always working, he has not grown distant from his family and makes his visits during holidays count.
