First Flight (contest) skin description

I flew for the first time when I was two years old. The plane was a homebuilt RV-9A, a little two-seater, painted bright royal blue with yellow stripes. The engine was too loud to talk over, so we used headsets, and I was fascinated by the idea of talking into a microphone and hearing myself in the headphones. Instead of using the headset to actually talk to the pilot, I talked to the airplane itself, asking it questions like who its favorite Dora the Explorer character was and whether or not it liked cake. The flight wasn't long - only about fifteen minutes - and, being two years old, I slept through most of it, but it left an awesome impression. I still think planes are about the coolest thing ever, although I haven't seen that particular RV-9A since I was five or six (though I searched up its tail number not long ago and, last I saw, it was living in New Zealand). This is my entry for round 2 of taesock, Femi, and fenean's contest. The theme was memories. This skin represents the memory of my first flight; it's a girl who's basically me wearing a pair of goggles, an aviator jacket (which, incidentally, matches the plane), and the infamous pilot scarf. It's not the most creative thing in the world, but hopefully execution and the coolness of the memory will be enough to get me to round 3, right? xD
