I recall seeing an illustration a bit like this in a book I was flicking through in the library at school one day and thinking it looked quite cool. So here's my attempt to capture it in skin-form. Obviously there was a lot of simplification involved which jeopardises the accuracy of the depiction, but accuracy was not the major aim.
