After freeing the monsters, Frisk brought Flowey out against his will and decided to become the monster's ambassador. She, of course, decided to live with Toriel. Two days later, Jerry gave up his soul for Flowey to have emotion. (the other monsters forced him to do it) After two years of her new life, the now royal scientist Dr. Sans, created a device to travel between timelines. He used Frisk to perfect the technology and, after a year of testing, sent Frisk and Flowey on a mission to explore the multiverse and document their findings.
