When using her ice powers. she can form something resembling an ice shell on her back to protect her gem and herself. Other: She has a strong fear and has a slight dislike towards fusion or really any tall gem. This is because she fears she will be poofed, or shattered, by them because of their huge size compared to her own small frame. Below contains some spoilers from the show. Don't read into this if you're not caught up. It's also not 100% canon but yep. SPOILER ALERT. dont say I didnt warn you Pink sapphire was quite clearly a Sapphire in Pink Diamonds court. That is, until Pink Diamond was shattered. Instead of being angry or upset, Paps was relived. She didn't like being under the control of a diamond due to the fact that she felt used. Her being under the control of a diamond caused her to gain a strong disliking towards her future vision. She felt that people would only care about her due to the future vision. She disliked this feeling and has since Pink Diamond was shattered, she completely disregarded her future vision. When Pink Diamond was shattered, Paps took it upon herself to remove the diamond from her clothes. She hid on Earth, hoping to avoid the war. But she was found by a Homeworld gem, and they thought she was a Crystal Gem. She was poofed and bubbled. Her bubble, which was in a Homeworld Ship, saved her from the corrupting weapon used by the diamonds. Later on, after the war ended, the ship started to deteriorate. A piece of the ship fell, popping Paps bubble. She was able to escape the ship and now hides on Earth.
