Long ago when Genesect was young he was abducted by people who work for a company called poké inc. They did all kinds of horrific experiments on him including removing his wings and implanting a cannon on his back that had a satcom recever in it to control it Their plan was to use poor Genesect to take over the world unfortunately for them the cannon was so heavy that poor Genesect could barely move and he had to use all of his strength to keep himself from being crushed under the weight of the cannon on his back. 1 year later team plasma found him, he had fallen on his back and he couldn't move he had been left to die. It took team plasma almost a week to detach the old cannon from Genesect's back but they finally removed it then they gave him another cannon that was lighter and that he could control on his own. Genesect was very grateful to team plasma for saving his life and giving him a way to defend himself and so he decided to work for them and attempt to "Liberate all pokémons" but 12 years later a trainer by the name of red captured Genesect and tried to make him fight but Genesect refused and for that he was violently beaten and forced to do horrible things. When I found him he was barely alive. I took him to the pokémon center and they fixed him up but he became depressed he stopped eating and he wouldn't move for hours btw I wasn't keeping him in a pokéball he is scared to death of pokéballs and he has a full blown panic attack if shown one but anyway he wasn't eating, he wouldn't move for hours so I took him to to therapy and I found out that the reason he was so depressed is because he couldn't fly anymore sadly there was nothing we could do. But one day I found a way that could get him his wings back but it was risky there was a 44% chance of him potentially dying but he said he would do it anyway what it was is basically they would inject stem cells into him and he would have regeneration but if something were to go wrong there was a 44% chance the stem cells would develop into an unstoppable cancer and kill him luckily that didn't happen the procedure was a success and 5 days later his wings grew back he now enjoys life flying through the skys and he has many friends currently he doesn't have a trainer and he says that he would never let someone train him and I don't blame him he had some nasty experiences in his past
