Updated 5-3-16 Naiadel's InfoName: Naiadel Lirone Race: Walker Gender: Female Sexuality: Heterosexual Age: 25 (aprox., exact unknown) Birthdate: December 18 Personality: Bold, fierce, cold, warrior-like, valiant, dauntless, indomitable, strong, outspoken Likes: Swordfighting, archery, anything athletic, solitude, speaking her mind, darkness, storms, rock-climbing Dislikes: Cowardice, sunlight, giant spiders*, deep abysses, talking with others, upheaval in the kingdom, not being properly respected for both her ability and her position Backstory: Naiadel was born in the castle Nichander in the winter wastelands of Fihorn. This castle was a colossal fortress hewn from a secluded mountainside, indestructible and craft with the greatest medieval defences. The royal Walkers who dwelt there had no interaction with anyone outside these great stone walls, and no neighbouring tribes dared attack them- even the fierce and primitive Gremlin race who lived in nearby huts and hollows. Naiadel, the princess of this Walker tribe, was a hotheaded and outspoken girl who lived and breathed the nature of warriors. She had no siblings and spent most of her spare time learning combat with the sword, dagger, lance and scythe, though her particular favourite was archery, with the use of poison and fire arrows. When she turned fifteen her parents gifted her with an enchanted Crystallite bow (that was said to never miss its target) and a quiver of assorted arrows. The only threat to the Walker tribe was the wild and massive spiders known as Shalobs, who had roamed undisturbed the labyrinths beneath the castle for thousands of years. The foundations of Nichander Castle were becoming shaky due to these spiders' repeated attempts to penetrate the ceilings of their caverns, on which the fortress rested. The Walker King's advisors recommended extreme combat with the Shalobs; in time, though he resisted at first, he agreed. Naiadel was forbidden to join the fight but stowed away anyway, masquerading as a young male warrior who was eventually promoted to the front line of battle. The Shalobs were far more powerful than the Walkers and nearly obliterated the entire race. Naiadel soon found herself facing the Shalob King, more than one hundred times her size and with fangs with lethal, instantaneous venom. She fought courageously and managed to severely wound the spider, but the hindstroke of its fang struck her across the leg. The poison took immediate effect. Naiadel managed to fatally shoot the Shalob King between the eyes with her enchanted bow, ultimately killing it. She never returned from her expedition, and several of the strongest male warriors were then dispatched to the caverns. They found the Shalob King dead and the entire race of spiders annihilated, leaving the labyrinths empty. Eventually they came across Naiadel's mangled body, resting in a pool of blood, with one lifeless hand still clutching her enchanted weapon. And in the side of the Shalob King there was a single poison arrow, shot from Naiadel's bow.
