~Hey! Jewel here! (Or Harper.) I had so much fun making Ivy. I hope that you like the skin more than I do, because I don't really like how she turned out. xD Name: Ivy Rose, her name was given because when she's always loved nature how it is. She hates when people interfere with mother nature's work, and despises almost nobody. Personality: Sweet with a dash of pride. She will despise you will all her heart if you kill more than 10 plants, but she doesn't care if you destroy the top but leave the roots. Backstory: As a child, her and her twin brother were near opposites in magic, him specializing in metals, shaping and molding them, fire being a mere pinch to his skin, while her magic specialized in healing and plants, growing and mending dying plants, brewing medicines and healing humans, animals, and plants alike. She is favored by Mother Nature. But they both have caring personalities, though Iron shows it through being firm and strict, while she shows it through her soft kindness. Their tribe shooed them away, afraid of the destruction brought after the tenth disaster in the month that their magic appeared hit. A kind village healer exiled herself with the two scared three-year-olds to take care of them. After eleven years of teaching the children how to use and control their magic, she called them over one day. The fourteen year old twins walked over to her, expecting her to give them the task of grabbing firewood or catching game for dinner. Instead, they found the kind young lady sitting on a tree stump. "Sit, please." she said, smiling. Ivy and Iron sat. "What is it, mother?" Ivy asked. The healer was the only mother they knew, seeing that their parents died a year after they were born, assassinated by local pirates in an attack while defending the two children. The village healer was the one who drove them away from the frightened children. She had been as dear as a mother to them ever since. "There is a prophecy. As you strike sixteen years old, you will meet a girl of the age of seven. She will be afraid and orphaned. Do not scare her. Treat her well. Teach her to control her magic, or the world will end. Chaos will take over the entire realm. Do not fail the gods." Ivy looked like her eyes were going to pop out of her head. Iron had fallen asleep. "Iron!" the outcast said impatiently, repeating the prophecy after he woke up. By then, Ivy had calmed down Iron's nose was red. His nose got red when he was confused. "So we meet this girl and save the world? How do we do that?" The village healer sighed. "You will find a way. Now, go catch game for dinner. Then get firewood." As Ivy went off to kill animals for food and Iron to chop the wood, because it was her turn to catch and his turn to chop, Ivy froze. A beautiful woman had appeared, tall and graceful, with silky white hair, though she was not old. Her snow-pale skin was smooth, and her face featured big blue eyes along with long lashes, that were a gray. She wore a red silk dress with blood red slippers. She smiled at the girl. Ivy had heard of these. She quickly took out her dagger. With speed that came with practice, she pressed a small red jewel at the hilt of the dagger while pressing an identical blue one at the same time. The red alerted the healer and her brother that a mijisu was near, while the blue one turned the dagger into a short sword. The mijisu, which meant demon-born in Jancizen, took out a small basket of white powder. Ivy recognized it immediately. The powder was said to knock out a full-grown man who touched a pinkie finger to a single grain of it for three days. Ivy got worried. She dodged the powder the first time. "Ivy!" Iron's shout of warning came a second too late. Ivy whipped her head around just to see a blast of windblown powder hit her straight in the face before it all went black. -Mijisus are the hunters of Chaos who kill mortals to bring back as offerings to their leader. After Iron and the healer slay the creature, Ivy wakes up after a month's rest. The healer informs them as soon as she is strong again it is time for them to fulfill the prophecy. What will happen? Read the book to find out.. Sorry for making such a long backstory. Ah, I want to start chapter 1-2 already!! Nah, it's too late. I'll make it tomorrow or something.
