Janos, the Mecha-Doctor Janos was the colonel-in-chief of the Gatterguard Medical Corps; he had treated hundreds of thousands of patients during his service. Janos was known as the "Mecha-Doctor" because he built mechanical body parts for soldiers who lost their arms, legs, and even organs. Tensions between the people and their totalitarian government grew until it led to the People's Rebellion. Even though Janos was serving the government and its military, he made the decision to join the rebellion because he did not like how his government was treating the people. Janos became a combat medic for the rebellion. The rebellion fought hard, but they were crushed in every battle against the government. Janos tried his best to treat all the wounded rebels, but he was not able to do it as there was too much of them and the medical supply was low. After months of fighting, the People's Rebellion was defeated by the Gatterguard army. The rebels were executed and Janos was next. The Gatterguard soldiers put Janos in a truck and drove him to Fort McKinley where he would be executed; however, the truck drove over a landmine planted by the rebels during the civil war. The landmine exploded and flipped the truck. The Gatterguard soldiers died from the explosion, but Janos was still alive. He struggled to crawl out from the truck, but when he did, he quickly ran into the forest. Janos crossed the border to the Enchanted Kingdom. He built a cabin in the Forest of the Fairies and lived their for most of his life. -- One day, he saw black smoke drifting in the blue sky from his cabin. He got on his horse and rode towards the smoke.
