Its Cthulhu but as a Rasta because reasons. Rules of the contest:Dive deep, delve, my crafter, into the pitfalls of human perception! This month's contest will test your sanity, your perseverance, and most importantly, your skinning skills; your task is to create a skin resembling a part of the horrific and tantalizingly terrifying Lovecraftian mythos, or make something similar. Perhaps you'll be swarmed by fish people from the bottom of the ocean, chased by horrendous flying octopi, or even sucked into the cracks and crevices of the Earth, doomed to fill a hole that was made just for you! And remember, my feeble mortal comrades, there is so, so much that lurks out there, in the corners of our minds, in the shadows 'neath the mountains, and out in the planes of reality.. Confused about the "Lovecraftian" title? No worries! Here's a quick summary: "Lovecraftian" is a specific genre of horror story-writing. It was popularized by and named for a certain H.P. Lovecraft, a short story writer from the early 20th century. His stories are the origin of such cult classics as "Call of Cthulu" and "At the Mountains of Madness". I, and the rest of the PMC staff, highly suggest you read some of his work (but certainly not at night). If you'd like to read some of these, here's a link to a public archive with the grand majority of his work; http://www.hplovecraft.com/writings/fiction/ . If you're pressed for time, or just want to test the waters, I recommend the most famous piece, "Call of Cthulu". TL;DR - Make a skin directly or loosely based on Lovecraft's writings, shed some light on your own horrific being, or make the unfortunate soul caught up in the matter Seeing as its Cthulhu I suppose this is technically a legitimate entry ;D Keep Smiling!
