Full Name: Marc Spector First Appearance: Werewolf by Night #32 (August 1975) Race: Human Created By: Doug Moench & Don Perlin The son of a rabbi who escaped Hitler, Marc was born in the U.S. and showed no interest in following his father's footsteps. Soon joining the U.S. Marine Corps, Spector became a field agent of the C.I.A. after two tours and worked with people such as William Cross, Amos Lardner, and brother Randall Spector. After his work with the C.I.A., he befriended "Frenchie" Duchamp after becoming a soldier-for-hire doing mostly work in Africa and South America. After a dispute with the two, Spector was mortally wounded and his spirit had an encounter with Khonshu, who wanted his services in exchange for his life. Moon Knight relates to the theme of retro due to the fact he was created in the mid '70's. I'm not to sure about you, but I don't hear about him far too often.
