    not rose lalonde skin description

Me: Hello I made this skin earlier today and I spent almost an hour on it, it would be nice if I got a few diamonds for it, I worked on it really hard. PMC: :) Me: What are you doing PMC: 0 Downloads 3 Views Me: ???? PMC: (Gives popreel to a skin that looks identical to a skin on popreel the day before) actual rant thoughOk but like, what I said earlier, it makes me SO MAD. Like, I feel like all we ever see on popreel are the same 5 skinners. I'm not going to go too deep into that, because the skin itself is well done, but god, its no fun to see the same few ideas from the same few people every day. Like, in october all we ever saw were skeleton sweaters. Like oh boy, we sure don't have 50 of those ALREADY. Oh boy, more melanie martinez hair, we sure don't have 500 of those already. OH BOY, skins with outfits that don't even make any sense but get 500 downloads, SURE DONT HAVE 500 OF THOSE Not only that, they all look really similar, so its just kind of a pain to see 5 skins in the same day getting all the attention when they LOOK ALL THE SAME. I chose this skin to put my rant on, because I thought it would be funny because this is a typical teen girl skin, which I'm ranting about, so jokes ya know? Not only that, the ONE TIME there was a skin on popreel that was of a skin from a new skinner, they got a TON of hate for it. They mostly got hate because it was unshaded, and well, what you'd normally expect from a beginner. That shouldn't have to be a thing. New skinners should be given the spot light more often, it's going to ruin their confidence if they never get anything out of their skins because it's not some cliche teen girl skin. I know, it's already kind of ruining it for me because whenever I make a skin I'm super proud of, it doesn't even get 5 downloads. But do you know how hard that is for new skinners? Imagine first starting out with skins, and you upload one of your skins to find out it gets really popular. It would make your day, right? Well, now imagine getting all the hate that person got because it wasn't shaded enough. So, this is what I think should happen, as a community. First, we need to pay more attention to beginners. If we put all our attention towards the same 5 teen girl skins that have nothing really all /that/ unique about them from the same 5 people, that's just going to hurt everybody. Yeah, it's good to award people for their hard work. But someone who regularly gets popreel can make skins easier than someone who's just first starting out and might be struggling. Not only that, I feel that there should be more of a variety of skins being featured. Put some skins that aren't girls in there, put some skins from shows and books or whatever in there, put skins in there of people who are just starting out, put some in of people who are kind of in the middle of being good or bad, put just regular good skins in there. A variety would be better for everyone, because people can see skins of different difficulties, and of different things. but yeah, thats all
