Pirate's Life Skin Contest Entry skin description

This is my entry for the pirate's life skin contest! It took a really long time to make xD As I was making it, I made a bit of a story about the person in the skin, so.. Here it is! By the way, it's free to use! Just don't copy the backstory, and you can use it! :D Backstory Once, there was a girl named Mira. She lived in a small town in the land of Amythia. Mira was a brilliant scientist, able to invent many things, but her father wanted her to study magic instead. To please him, she started creating magical inventions, although she still didn't want to pursue magic as a career. As she grew, she became better and better at inventing, but her father still wanted her to study magic. Mira went to her mother for help, but her mother couldn't do much about it. When Mira turned 17, old enough to leave to study, she left without her father's knowlege in order to pursue an education in using magic and science together. She eventually found a small town with a school of magical science, and began to attend. Although it was hard to adjust, she made it through a year of it. However, in her second year, pirates arrived. They ransacked the school and burned it down. Everyone survived, but Mira had just lost her only hope of pursuing her dream. Mira left the town- There was nothing there for her anymore. She decided that she wanted to become a brilliant, magical scientist pirate, despite how silly it seemed. She wanted to have her revenge on them for destroying her dreams. She wouldn't ransack normal people, though - No, she'd steal from the rich and use that money to build her own school. Mira got to work right away - She'd need a lot of time to build this one. Finally, after almost a year of running around hundreds of towns, she'd done it - She'd built a flying ship! Mira rode on this flying ship with her small crew for another year - But she got tired of constantly worrying about being attacked, or the ship crashing, and this and that. She just wanted to go home, see her father and mother, and hear her father lecture her on why she should become a mage. And so, she steered the ship towards her home, and left, telling the crew to continue their quest to build a school. She saw her father and mother and ran towards them, but she'd changed. She was no longer scrawny and weak, she'd become strong and her hands were no longer soft and warm, they were rough and hard. Her father didn't lecture her on why she should study magic. He told her that if she wanted to be an inventor, he'd pay for her to go to a proper school. Mira was shocked. "I want to build a school of magic and science, so that everyone can learn." Mira said.
