The following passage is from a researcher's notes on an organism discovered on a foreign planet. Certain articles of information have been withheld due to the confidential nature of the report. ... This humanoid creature lives, from our limited observation, exclusively in the humid tropics of this planet. It is alert to our presence, which leads me to conclude that it has a heighten sense of hearing and vision. It has two large eyes, amber in colour. The large eyes bear a strong resemblance to reptilians on Earth, as characterized by the narrow vertical pupils. The reptilian alien has two small nostrils, on top of its snout. Another similarity the reptilian alien shares with its Earthly counterparts is the presence of an inner ear, situated in the sides of the creature's head. On the back of the creature are a series of dorsal protrusions. The reptilian alien possesses hands, which appear more mammalian than reptilian. Also, the reptilian alien's feet and lack of tail suggest that this creature is not entirely reptilian...
