((you find and pick up a old tape recorder and hit the play button, a young woman's voice begins to speak)) *~BZZ-T~* "day 356: Its been a long time since it began.. Seems like longer since iv'e had a hot shower. 'Suppose keeping this journal for so damn long helped me keep my sanity. Still, its been over a month since my group.. passed on.. So much change has been made this last year, i can barely recognize myself in my own reflection. I had met, loved.. and lost so many people in my life as well. I miss my job, and my dog.. i miss chicken gumbo.. Although i always hated drinking it doesn't seem like a bad idea now! Part of me wishes i can somehow find my way into the good old days, before the dead got up and started eating people.. had my dog not died of starvation id think he'd be looking out the window right now.. always watching my back.. I regret letting him get separated from us.. sad to say his loss hit me the hardest. I'm thinking i need to come to terms that its only me now.. Michel and Lana lost hope and stayed behind.. I understand because we had watched 6 die the night before, most of them were their family.. As much as i would have liked to go with them, I just cant seem to bring myself to the risk.. I don't think ill make it very far all on my own, this last month was luck. .. .. I can do this. I will survive .. .. Also, i really need to stop dropping my tapes everywhere.. even after Armageddon i'm a mess! " *~BZZ-T~*
