    Vending Machine Man skin description

Gilbert Guinea was an ordinary man..until the accident. A sea sponge experiment gone awry destroyed most of his body, and despite the best efforts of modern mad science, only his brain and a small part of his nervous system could be saved. In order to provide him with some semblance of ordinary life, his husband Dr. Rupert Guinea decided to install his brain into a robot body--but alas, the crucial grant needed to provide funding for the project went instead to the nefarious Dr. Spud (curses!) and her potato-powered dynamite cannon. Just when all hope seemed lost, an agent from Krispy Koala, an enormous soft drink company, approached with a unique opportunity: the company would fund the creation of a robotic body for Gilbert in the form of a vending machine dispensing Krispy Koala soda and snack foods. Rupert agreed, and thus Gilbert became Vending Machine Man, the world's first (and only) human vending machine!
